笹井研究室の研究概要

At Sasai Lab, while building upon the frameworks of computer science, complex systems science, and multi-agent systems, we explore the boundaries and relationships between the mechanisms of nature and humans versus artificial systems, machines versus life, and socio-humanistic approaches versus technology.

笹井研究室（Sasai Lab）では、情報科学、複雑系科学、マルチエージェントシステムの枠組みをベースとしながら、自然や人間のメカニズムと人工システム、機械と生命、そして社会・人文学的アプローチとテクノロジーの境界・関係性を探求しています。

Main Research Themes

主な研究テーマ

Currently, we are promoting research projects mainly around the following three core themes.

現在、主に以下の3つのテーマを柱として研究プロジェクトを推進しています。

  • Cognitive Modeling & Co-creative Intelligence / 認知モデリングと共創知能: By applying extended and inverse Bayesian inference, we aim to build “co-creative” relationships where humans and AI mutually adapt to each other while inferring human intentions and behaviors. 拡張ベイズ・逆ベイズ推論などを応用し、人間の意図や行動を推論しつつ、人間とAIが相互に適応しあう「共創的」な関係性の構築を目指します。

  • Extension of Dialogue and Communication / 対話・コミュニケーションの拡張: We explore new forms of communication through mediating devices (mediators) and dialogue agents, and design relationships considering emotion and uncertainty. 媒介装置（メディエータ）や対話エージェントを通じた新しいコミュニケーションの形や、情動・不確実性を考慮した関係性のデザインを探求します。

  • Complex Systems Modeling & Collective Dynamics / 複雑系モデリングと集団のダイナミクス: Through simulations such as asynchronous interactions and artificial market models, we elucidate the emergence of social norms and diversity. 非同期的な相互作用や人工市場モデルなどのシミュレーションを通じ、社会規範や多様性の創発現象を解明します。
